Limiting our environmental impact Manufacturing, by its very nature, impacts upon the natural world. It is our responsibility to limit the impact of our manufacturing process. We use only vegetable-oil based inks and our process-less CTP system uses almost NO chemicals.FSC Accreditation We are one of only 4% of UK printers certified to meet FSC standards. We can enable you to include the FSC logo on anything that we print for you. Recycling We recycle all waste paper and post consumer paper waste, printing metals, chemicals, machine oils. We recommend recycled and part-recycled papers to our clients. ISO 14001 Environmental Quality Standards We are currently working with the BPIF to achieve the ISO14001 Environmental standard. This has caused us to question and change many of our working practices. Becoming Carbon Neutral We are working with Trucost and Green 20:20 to determine our carbon footprint and plan to be carbon neutral within 2 years. | |
